Motherly Heart Foundation Trains High School Boys And Girls How To Make Reusable Sanitary Pads

HALC, in partnership with hashtag#Motherlyheartfoundation and Rotary club, have conducted hands-on training for boys and girls at Butemba College Secondary School and Ebenezer Secondary School in Butemba Town Council on how to make reusable sanitary pads. 💪🏽🩷

This initiative is part of a broader effort to tackle menstrual health challenges that lead many girls in Kyankwanzi District to miss school or drop out entirely. 💔📚

During the sessions, students learned not only how to create reusable pads, but also the importance of menstrual hygiene,how to use, change, and maintain pads properly, and the dangers of unhygienic practices.
